How exactly is the 20% calculated?
Twenty per cent of the net subscription revenue we actually collect from your referred client, excluding GST, for up to twelve consecutive monthly billing cycles from their first paid invoice. If they are on an annual plan, commission is paid across the equivalent twelve months rather than as one lump sum. Once-off specialist services are not commissionable.
When does the 12 months start and what happens after?
It starts on the client's first successful payment and runs for twelve consecutive billing cycles. After that the commission stops and the client stays with us directly. We are upfront about this rather than implying lifetime revenue — twelve months is genuinely what is on offer.
What if my referral cancels or refunds?
Commission is paid on revenue we have actually collected and retained. If a client refunds under the 30-Day Review Guarantee, no commission is payable for that period. If they cancel in month five, you have been paid for months one to four and that is where it ends.
Is there a cost or a minimum?
No joining fee, no minimum referrals, no quota to keep your status. If you refer one business a year, you get paid on that one business.
Can I white-label or resell instead?
For agencies with several clients, yes — we do wholesale arrangements where you bill your client directly at your own rate. That is a different agreement to the referral program, so email us and we will talk it through properly.
Do I have to do any of the delivery work?
None. We onboard the client, write the templates, run the testing and provide support. Your job ends at the introduction. That is the entire point.
Will you sell my client other services behind my back?
No. We sell ReputationFlow. We are not going to use your introduction as a doorway into your client relationship, and if a referred client asks us about something outside our scope we point them back to you.
How do I actually get paid?
You will need an ABN and, if you are registered for GST, you invoice us with GST. We run a recipient-created tax invoice arrangement so you do not have to raise invoices manually. Payments go out in the first week of each month for the previous month.
